What is a peer group, and how does it differ from a labor organization?

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requires that O and P visa applicants obtain a written letter of consultation to accompany their visa petitions. This letter may come from a peer group, a management organization, or a labor organization.

Fractured Atlas is a peer group to the artists who apply for visas, since we serve artists as part of our programs and services. However, we do not manage artists directly, nor are we a labor organization (such as a union).

Please note that, in some cases, USCIS may require that a labor organization specifically provide a letter of consultation. If that is the case, Fractured Atlas will not be able to provide a letter that will sufficiently meet their requirements. For a list of labor organizations, you can visit USCIS's website.
