Wire/ACH Transfer and Stock Donations

Donations of Stock
Donations of publicly-traded stocks and bonds are tax-deductible when given to a 501(c)(3) organization like Fractured Atlas.

We can accept these donations but they involve a little more work than a normal gift. If you have a donor who wants to make a donation of this kind, please inform the donor to contact our staff. Due to the nature of this donation, we must hear from the donor directly.

Donations via Wire/ACH Transfer
We can accept donations made by wire transfer. To process a gift via wire/ACH, please connect us directly to your donor or send the donor’s contact information to [e-mail]. Our staff will then speak directly with the donor to set up the wire/ACH transfer. The donor will be required to complete the Major Gift Letter for transfers of $5,000 or more. 

Please note, wire/ACH and stock contributions require the work of multiple staff members to process, therefore it may take several days after the wire or stock transfer has been initiated for the contribution to be processed. Once a wire/ACH or stock contribution is processed in support of the project, it is then held for seven (7) calendar days before it is available for release. Please plan accordingly.
