A Fractured Atlas staff member can authorize use of Fractured Atlas’s EIN on a case-by-case basis. These instances include, but are not limited to:
- Soliciting donations
- Applying for grants
- Requesting nonprofit rates from vendors
What if my situation does not fall into one of the above categories?
Please contact us if your unique situation does not fall into one of the above categories. We’ll work with you to figure out whether or not it is appropriate to use our EIN for your specific situation.
How do I obtain permission to use your EIN?
Please contact us to seek permission to use our EIN. We’ll need to know:
- Who is asking for it? What is his/her/the business’s address?
- Why is it needed/how will it be used?
- Is there an application involved?
- Is there a contract involved?
- When is it needed?
We’ll issue a letter containing our EIN unless there is a different format required. This business-style letter will be emailed to you as a PDF which you can then pass along to the person/entity requesting it.
How long will it take for you to send Fractured Atlas’s EIN?
It really depends on the situation. It could take us 1 business day if it is a simple request, or it could take us 10 business days if it is for a grant in which case we’ll need to review and approve the grant application. In all cases, please let us know when you need the EIN and we’ll try to email it to you by that date. Please do leave a few days for back and forth in case any questions arise about your situation.
Note: The Fractured Atlas staff reserves the right to deny permission for use of Fractured Atlas’s EIN. Using Fractured Atlas’s EIN in any situation without written permission for that situation is a prohibited activity of our program and is grounds for termination of your fiscal sponsorship.
