Projects are only approved to fundraise for the activities included in the project description submitted in their application for sponsorship. If the scope or focus of your project's activities changes, you will likely need to submit what we call an expansion application so that your new programs, projects, or activities can be approved for sponsorship by our Board of Directors.
In order to facilitate this change, our fiscal sponsorship staff will need to give you access to your original application where you can make the necessary edits or amendments. You will have seven days to submit your expansion application before your fiscal sponsorship is officially ended. If you submit your expansion application after the seven day window, your sponsorship will be reactivated when the expansion application is approved. If you would like to become fiscally sponsored for an entirely new project, we can “expire” your current fiscal sponsorship which would allow you to submit a new application for sponsorship on our website.
Each Fractured Atlas membership can only have one fiscal sponsorship. If you’d like fiscal sponsorship for more than one project, you’ll need to submit an application for all of your artistic activities or you’ll need to have more than one Fractured Atlas membership, each with its own fiscal sponsorship.
