Except for comp sales, order confirmations are sent automatically sent to your supporters for all transactions as long as an email address was collected during checkout. For comp sales, you have the option to send an order confirmation by using the checkbox at the bottom of the page at checkout. If a person has multiple email addresses on file, you can select which one you'd like to send it to.
To resend a receipt, view the Order Details page, which can be reached in two ways:
- Via the Orders report: Select the inventory item category from the Orders menu in the top navigation bar. Click on the order ID to reach the order details page.
- Via the Action Feed in a person record: Find the correct person's record, then click on the Bought action to select and view the order details.
On the Order Details page:
- Click the Work With button on the top left side of the screen.
- Select Send Receipt from the dropdown menu.
If the ticket buyer has multiple emails listed, you can choose which one you'd like to resend the receipt to. Artful.ly defaults to the email address that they have entered at checkout. If this email has been deleted, it will default to the primary email address.
Note: If you are resending a receipt because a patron mistyped their email address, make sure you correct the address on their people record before resending the receipt.
