Finding space poses additional challenges for disabled artists, but if you have an accessible space, you can help make it easier by noting your accessibility features your SpaceFinder listing.
This can be done in the Accessibility section of your listing.
If your space is ADA or AODA compliant, you can check the corresponding box.
For more information on the ADA, see ADA.gov
- And for more information on the AODA, see Ontario.ca's website on Accessibility laws.
You can also indicate whether or not your space has an elevator, freight elevator, is accessible without stairs, and other search filters, but we've also added a few more unique options to make your space more visible.
If you're interested in having a 360 Degree virtual tour of your space created, more information can be found in this article: Marketing Your Venue's Accessibility Features with Virtual Tours.
Some spaces have a page on their website dedicated to detailing their accessibility features. If you have such a page on your site you can add it here. Like the virtual tour, this will link out from your listing. Here are some examples of listings with links to their website's accessibility details.
