Some actions are logged automatically on contact records, like for ticket sales and donations, but sometimes you'll want to log an action yourself. Here's how to do it.
Manually Adding an Action
- From a people record, select the Add button next to "Action Feed"
- Select the relevant Action Type from the buttons
- Adjust the Date
- Complete additional fields accordingly to record action details
- For Said and Heard action types, select a communication method subtype
- Save your action.
After you log an action, you can also see who created it by clicking on the action and selecting "Edit". The creator will be listed in the edit box. Information on all of the different action types can be found in Actions & the Action Feed.
