Note that we will be discontinuing our Artful.ly ticketing and CRM service effective July 31, 2020. Here's more info about this decision and what it entails.
An Anonymous record is created when a patron's information is not included during a box office ticket purchase. Artful.ly will still keep track of the purchase and add it to the show/event info including number and type of ticket sold, and amount of earned income. Because no specific patron information is attached to the sale, however, Artful.ly places the purchase into your Anonymous record. You can either leave them all there or assign them to a patron later. Prevention, of course, is always the best cure.
Make sure you ask for a patron's name and email address when they buy tickets at the box office so your records are clear and they receive a receipt for the transaction.
Note: Anonymous records often show a very high lifetime value since they are a compilation of many different people.
Finding Your Anonymous Record
You can find your Anonymous record through the people menu under search. Type in ANONYMOUS and the record will appear.

- Select the action.
- Click View Order Details.
- Click the Work With... button in the top left corner.
- Choose Assign Person.
- Select which patron you would like to be assigned the action.
