A settlement is the money Artful.ly owes you for each show or donation.
Each show has one settlement that includes all money you made from credit card sales minus the 3.5% processing fee. Two business days after your show, Artful.ly sends the settlement to the automated clearing house. From there, it takes another few days for them to process the payment and send it to your bank account. **Please see When and how do I get my money? for an amended Ticket Settlement Schedule due to COVID-19.**
Each donation has its own settlement. Artful.ly sends donation settlements two business days after the donation is made. From there it takes a few days for the automated clearing house to get it to your bank account.
It is important to keep your bank account info up to date. If the EFT information is no longer accurate and a transaction is returned, there will be a $10 fee per returned settlement.
Note: To generate revenue breakdowns for each show, view Statement ReportsWhere do I find my settlements report?
- Select Reports from the top navigation bar
- Choose Settlements
- From there, you can view either previously Sent or Upcoming settlements by toggling between them.
Here's an example of a settlement report:
From the Show Details page, you can also view the estimated settlement date and amount.
What do the columns on the report mean?
ID: This is uniquely identifies the settlement within Artful.ly. Click on this and you'll see a list of all the orders included in the settlement.
Item: This will be either an Event Name, Donation, Membership, or Pass.
Detail: These column contains either the show date, or the name of the membership type or pass type. This column is blank for donation settlements. Because memberships and passes have the option of having the service fee paid either by the producer or by the patron, we've included one example of each here.
Date: This is the day Artful.ly released the settlement. From this date, it will take the automated clearing house system another 3-5 business days for the funds to reflect in your bank account.
Gross: Total amount of credit card sales for this show or the total amount of the donation.
Realized: Total amount received by Artful.ly from patrons for this show. This number should always equal the gross figure.
Net: Total amount owed to you for credit card sales after the 3.5% processing fee is deducted.
