We have updated our fiscal sponsorship grant agreement so that the legal entity on file is the one agreeing to the fiscal sponsorship contract. Click here to learn more about why we are updating the fiscal sponsorship grant agreement.
Please note: the updated fiscal sponsorship grant agreement will be available for existing fiscally sponsored projects to opt into on February 28, 2024.
To gain full access to your fiscal sponsorship dashboard again, the legal entity on file will need to opt into the new grant agreement.
- Go to fracturedatlas.org to sign in to your fiscal sponsorship
- Click the purple button on your fiscal sponsorship dashboard
For legal entities using an EIN, in the tax information section, add the name and title of the signatory for the legal entity listed on your fiscal sponsorship and then click “Save and Continue."
For legal entities using a Social Security Number (SSN) you will immediately be brought to the review page of your initial fiscal sponsorship application.
In all cases:
- Once you get to the Review page, scroll to the bottom and click the purple “REVIEW FISCAL SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT” button.
- Review the updated fiscal sponsorship grant agreement. You will find this agreement annotated with more accessible language to the right of the contract.
- After reading the agreement, check the “I have read the above fiscal sponsorship agreement” box and click the purple “Go to Final Step” button.

Under the Agreement section, clarify if you are the legal signatory OR if the responsible individual is someone else.
If you are the authorized signatory, simply select “I AGREE” and click submit. Clicking “Submit” will constitute you agreeing to the new fiscal sponsorship grant agreement. Once submitted, you will have full access to your fiscal sponsorship dashboard and can utilize your fiscal sponsorship as usual.
If someone else is the authorized signatory, select “I AM NOT” and click the purple “ASSIGN SIGNATORY” button.
Since we need the authorized signatory to sign the fiscal sponsorship grant agreement, you will need to add their name and contact information. The name and email should match the individual’s information that you included in the “Name of Signatory” line when initially adding the legal entity. Once completed, click “SEND EMAIL.”
An invitation to sign the fiscal sponsorship agreement will be emailed to the signatory! Once they have read the agreement and opted into the new grant agreement, you may utilize your fiscal sponsorship as usual. Please note, that until the signatory has signed the new fiscal sponsorship grant agreement, your fiscal sponsorship dashboard will remain inactive.
If you do not want to opt into the new grant agreement, you can click “I DECLINE.” Please keep in mind that by declining to opt into the new grant agreement your fiscal sponsorship with Fractured Atlas will automatically end.
