Where is my money?

We mailed a check donation to Fractured Atlas, have you received it?

When mailing a check donation, it typically takes 1-2 weeks to arrive at our P.O. box. Since we are reliant on USPS, there may be an unforeseen delay. Additional delays may occur if the check was sent without being reported via your My Fiscal Sponsorship Dashboard. If you mailed the check without reporting it first, please submit the report asap. If it has been more than 4 weeks since the check was mailed and it still has not arrived and been processed to your project's fund balance, please email [e-mail] with the details of the donation so we can look into this further.

My donor sent an ACH/Wire donation to Fractured Atlas, I do not see it in my account yet, where is it?

Wire and ACH contributions require the work of multiple staff members to process, therefore it may take several days after the wire or ACH has been initiated for the contribution to be processed. Once a wire or ACH contribution is processed in support of a project, it is then held for seven (7) calendar days before it is available for release. Please plan accordingly. If it has been more than 4 weeks since the ACH contribution was initiated and it still has not arrived or been processed to your project's fund balance, please email [e-mail] with the details of the donation so we can look into this further.

My donor sent a donation through their Donor Advised Fund, where is it?

This depends on when and how your donor’s institution sent Fractured Atlas the funds. Please email support [e-mail] with the details of the donation so we can look into this further.
 

My donation arrived, but it's not available for release. How can I check the status of when it will be available? 

All donations are subject to a seven (7) calendar day holding period before funds become available for release. This holding period allows Fractured Atlas staff time to process and deposit check donations, and resolve any credit card billing issues that may arise.

You can check when a donation will become available after the seven day hold by navigating to your fiscal sponsorship dashboard and clicking “My Donation History.” From there, you can click the drop down arrow on the donation you’re checking and see the date available.   

If seven days have passed and the funds are still not available, it might be missing a major gift letter! We require a Major Gift Letter for check and ACH/Wire donations of $5,000 or more. We will process any incoming check or ACH/Wire donations to your sponsored fund, even if we are waiting on the Major Gift Letter, but the funds will only be made available for release once the Major Gift Letter has been received by Fractured Atlas.

My donation is missing, what do I do?
