We are ending our insurance program after more than ten years because we are re-doubling our efforts to ignite the art of progress and provide support directly to you as an artist -- finding space, selling tickets, raising funds, and teaching you about the tools of the trade with our extensive knowledge base.
The last day of the program is December 31, 2019. Any coverage you have in place should remain in effect, and you work directly with Lockton Affinity on any questions and renewals. Please see the FAQs below for more information.

When is the last day I can apply for new insurance or renew my existing insurance under the Fractured Atlas insurance program?
The last day to apply for new insurance or renew your existing policy under our program is December 31, 2019.
Please note that any obligations or fees due under our program are determined by your insurance policy’s effective date, not the date you apply for new insurance or renew your existing policy. This means that if you apply for new insurance or renew your existing policy on December 31, 2019, but your new or renewed policy has an effective date of January 1, 2020, it will be processed directly by Lockton Affinity with no connection to Fractured Atlas.
Does the program ending change the date my premium and/or program fees are due?
The program ending does not change your premium and/or program fees that are already due, and any coverage you have in place should remain in effect. Please contact Lockton Affinity directly for any questions you might have on your specific policy.
What will happen to my existing insurance application?
If you submitted an application for new insurance before the end of our program, and your new policy’s effective date is on or before December 31, 2019, it will be processed under our program. If your new policy’s effective date is after the end of our program, it will be processed directly by Lockton Affinity with no connection to Fractured Atlas.
What will happen to my existing insurance policy?
Your existing insurance policy will continue for the duration listed in your policy documents.
What happens if my policy expires before the program ends?
If your policy expires before our program ends, you will have the option to renew the policy under our program -- so long as you renew before the end of our program, and your new policy’s effective date is on or before December 31, 2019. If your new policy’s effective date is after the end of our program, it will be processed directly by Lockton Affinity with no connection to Fractured Atlas.
What happens if my policy expires after the program ends?
If your policy expires after our program ends, you will have the option to renew the policy directly with Lockton Affinity.
What happens if my policy renews before the program ends?
If your policy renews before our program ends, and your new policy’s effective date is on or before December 31, 2019, you will have renewed under our program. If your new policy’s effective date is after the end of our program, it will be processed directly with Lockton Affinity with no connection to Fractured Atlas. Either way, your renewed policy will continue for the duration listed in your policy documents, unless you cancel according to the terms of the policy requirements.
What happens if my policy renews after the program ends?
If your policy renews after our program ends, your renewed policy will continue for the duration listed in your policy documents, directly with Lockton Affinity.
Do I still need a Fractured Atlas membership if I only use it for insurance?
You do not need a Fractured Atlas membership if you have only used us for our insurance program. But did you know that we have products and services to support your work in other meaningful ways? Learn more about our other offerings here.
What if I need a Certificate of Insurance after the program ends?
If you need a Certificate of Insurance, please contact Lockton Affinity directly. They have access to your insurer who can provide the policy documents you need.
Where will I get insurance when I need it in the future?

Important Notes
- Many policies automatically renew, and it is up to you to cancel any unwanted coverage, or pay any fees that may be due. Please be mindful of renewal deadlines as indicated in your policy documentation and insurance notices.
- Our program ending will not alter the existing terms of your insurance policy, coverage, amendments, deadlines, fees due, automatic renewals, or any other obligations you may have with Lockton Affinity and/or your insurance company.
